Barcelona-based quartet Celliacus’ blistering, genre-defying debut draws on jazz, punk, metal, free jazz and ambient soundscape. 

Celliacus harnesses the collective improvisational spirit of Diego Caicedo and Juanma Trujillo (electric guitars/effects), Juan Pablo Egúsquiza (double bass/pedals), and Jordi Pallarés (drums/electronics) to craft a bold sonic expedition across unexplored territories. 

Drawing from their diverse backgrounds spanning Colombia, Venezuela, Peru, and Catalonia, these seasoned improvisers traverse ambient soundscapes, free jazz eruptions, and heavy metal-influenced textures with remarkable fluidity. 

Through prepared instruments, extended techniques, and electronic manipulations, they create music that breathes and evolves organically, balancing deliberate restraint with moments of raw, unbridled intensity—a testament to Barcelona's thriving experimental music scene and these four musicians' boundary-dissolving approach to collective creation.
