hypha_e (mycelium)

hypha_e (mycelium) is a collaborative project where sound artists, musicians, choreographers, dancers and the general public respond to a 3 dimensional score installed at Blindside Gallery. An open approach would encourage rich exchanges, bringing together creative sectors that may not otherwise meet. This belief has been reinforced in Tina's art practice as she moves between visual art and sound performance.

James Nunn

Chamber Pieces: False Sail

James Nunn will be presenting an adaptation of Paul Celan’s Matière de Bretagne, as understood through the lens of autistic shutdown, performed with celebratory urinal pots crafted from reshaped and decorated SodaStream bottles. There will be a live performance of the adaption on opening night.

Nunn's artistic practice approaches themes of male isolation and neurodivergence through performative responses to archival investigation. Nunn works with audio-visual and text installations which utilise furniture to explore the museological function of private domestic spaces.
