Eyeless: Microtonal Mandolin, is a totally improvised set of compositions played on the mandolin and recorded live at Galeria Baszta, Zbąszyn, Poland.
These ‘eyeless’ composition are wonderful vignettes of nuanced scenes and emotions...seemingly drawing on Asian and Middle Eastern forms; or maybe not..they are open to interpretation and each track takes on a life of its own but they are all interconnected by the same European avant-garde sensibility.
