Two exploratory guitar releases out today: Milarepa Dorji's Grimoire and Kawol Samarqandi’s Noli me tangere

Echodelick and Ramble Records are thrilled to announce that Milarepa Dorji’s solo guitar release ‘Grimoire’ will be available on limited edition CD and digital DL on April 26. Son of Bhutanese guitarist and improvisor Tashi Dorji, Milarepa has forged his own path on Grimoire and recorded a stunning slice of experimental acoustic guitar compositions drawing on free improvisation, flamenco, gypsy jazz, and Bhutanese folk music. https://ramblerecords.bandcamp.com/album/grimoire
Experimental guitarist Kawol Samarqandi’s returns with Noli me tangere - another otherwordly recording of subtle minimalist improvised guitar nuances and haunting vocals. "The sounds of Kawol Samarqandi show us a way to grasp a totality, a more complete and complex vision that remains hidden in the fragments themselves and in the spaces that surround and connect them. “Noli me tangere” must be listened to calmly, in a non-superficial way: these fragments, often so catchy and melodic, fade away but leave their aura, their breath to resonate for a long time in our ears.” excerpt from Andrea Aguzzi’s liner notes. https://kawolsamarqandi-ramble-records.bandcamp.com/album/noli-me-tangere
