Ov Pain – the artist couple Barrance and Player – have given us a new batch of weirdness with their latest record ‘Kauri Island’. Reading like a shortlist of haunted sonic anomies it’s an impressive follow up album to their acclaimed ‘The Churning Blue of Noon’ of2021. ‘Kauri Island’ is a work notable for its starkness and dissonance, equally, too, for its propulsive bottom-end warmth and minimalist drone.

Mouse Tears- First Mouse tears gig by Allanah Stewart (Snacks, Lime works etc). Percussive music made by small invisible creatures that are screaming and singing into the void.
