activist-music research invitation

Do you embed environmental or climate action messages within your music? Or do you aim to use your music in service of environmental protections or climate action in other ways? If you answered yes to either of these questions, we would like to invite you to participate in a research project (ethics code GU ref no: 2021/605) by completing this short survey. Please feel free to share this link within your relevant networks.

This project aims to arrive at a preliminary understanding of activist-musicianship evident within Australian environmental and climate action initiatives and to understand activist-musicians’ perspectives and insights into their craft. More information is available through the survey link, or you can contact the Principal Researcher, Dr Leah Coutts, at l.coutts@griffith.edu.au, or 07 3735 6345. Potential participants should be mindful of maintaining their own privacy and the privacy of others involved in the research by refraining from commenting on this post or in other social media spaces.

Thank you in advance for assisting in disseminating this important research invitation and for any insights you provide should you choose to participate.

Best wishes,

Leah.
