"Looking Up" - a video by Ernie Althoff and John Campbell

 

This dawn to dusk video borrows its title from a book of cloud photographs published in August 2020 by Marianne Midelburg and Ernie Althoff. So "Looking Up" is now also a video of cloud photographs. Indeed, the only way to stop the metamorphosis and motion of a cloud is to photograph it. The activities of the Cloud Appreciation Society (cloudappreciationsociety.org), including their beautiful book "A Cloud A Day", reveal a passion for clouds that is wide-spread.
