New Independent Melbourne label Ramble Records update

Ramble Records is up and running. Specialising in American primitive guitar, acid folk, psych, outsider folk, free jazz, ethnic recordings, re-releases and experimental sounds from around the globe.

This Friday, Feb 5 from 7pm Australian EST our good friends at Bandcamp are helping artists out by forgoing their fees for 24 hours.

Ramble Records has a real tasty, brain melter or as the kids say, 'banger' to mark the occasion.

The Morning is Broken by the Man From Atlantis has it all: doom, gloom, melancholy, folk, psych, free jazz, fuzz, fuzz geetar, fuzz bass, fuzz drums, anticipation, elation, narrative arc…it even has an outro, and clocking in just under 20 minutes, it’s just what Nurse Ratched ordered.

And the second track; the supposed B-side or Beth of this release…it may not be a banger as such, it’s more of a moody, brooding, wet sanga…the ones where the tomato makes the bread go soggy, but it sure is satisfying and tasty nonetheless. And…friends, this psychic raga is based on a true story...it's all there! Lyrics can be sent on request.

It clocks in at just under twenty-two minutes which means you’ll be able to get in a double core work out while you listen. Strong core. Strong mind. Both these releases are the second in the Man from Atlantis and Moon of Deliverance series and are available from 7pm through Ramble Records.

Stay tuned for impending Ramble releases including: Inside the Outside...Experimentations in American Primitive Guitar, George Christians' Diários da Sobrevivência, Giannis Arapis and Themis Vasiliou's Greek primitive masterpiece, Cate Von Csoke's Almoon, Camila Nebbia's Corre el río de la memoria, 1010 Ensemble, Alessandro Denti.
