in two thousand and ten, a postmodernist art academic joined forces with a maverick sound-hermit, and hystory was born.
GNAUMGN is an experiment in both music and non-music, in the potential equality of all sounds, in the "field theory" of creativity rather than the "top down" composition model.
finally, every official release is now on the Bandcamp portal - now including the first two raucous noise-drenched albums.
the first, BOSTRAU ASTERID SYMBICON (a name that came to one of the members in a dream), is a fiery distorted assault of junk-drums, violin, and overblown guitar excess.

although GNAUMGN moved on from these blazing cacophonous experiments in free-jazz-meets-punk-noise abandon, these two ten-year-old relics are important documents in the GNAUMGN canon, and serve as an explosive starting point for a musical entity which, already a decade old, shows no signs of slowing down - or getting any less strange.
