Yelderbert – Omnitemporal

An immersive musical experience of sonic illusion.

Omnitemporal puts audiences in the (literal) centre of musical illusion. It uses intricate shifting rhythms and percussive sounds to create constant sonic illusion, blurring the lines between acoustic and electronic and creating a state of trance, focus and utter disorientation.
A ring of five speakers (plus the performer) surround the audience, building an immersive and complex environment.

A web of ambiguous rhythms and sounds dance around the sphere, encapsulating the audience in something that is equal parts unique, intense and confusing.

Omnitemporal will debut at the 2019 Melbourne Fringe Festival.

Yelderbert is a diverse musician who can be found in one instance working with Eilish Gilligan, Client Liaison, No Zu and others; and in another composing for contemporary dance, improvising in cross disciplinary settings or producing electronic music.

“My goal with Omnitemporal is to create sonic illusion akin to Escher or Reutersvärd, whilst creating an environment of trance and focus. It brings together many of my influences that span across musical styles and disciplines to create something that is its own unique entity.” - Yelderbert, 2019
'Omnitemporal' aims to draw the listener in to an intense, subtle environment in order to foster a transcendental state between trance, focus and confusion.
