The Ecology of Place, RMIT SAB Cinema, 16th-18th June
The Ecology of Place is a spatial-sound cinema program featuring new sound and moving image works by artists exploring the natural and built environment. Artworks from across the areas of experimental film and documentary, electro-acoustic composition, ethnography, photography and acoustic ecology will be presented over three days.
The program features works from Yan Jun (CHN), Polly Stanton (AU), Matthew Berka (AU), Emily Richardson (UK), Slavek Kwi (IE), Madelynne Cornish (AU), Philip Samartzis (AU), Yannick Dauby (TWN), Byron Huang-Dean (AU) and Daniel Lercher (AT).
