Uuxe & Floored Interior
Uuxe & Floored Interior are the ambient projects of Jack Brock (Naarm) and Matt England (Magandjin). After playing in bands together nearly 15 years ago, their recent collaboration is sparse and largely improvised, assembled live from modular and analog synthesis and the slow erosion of recorded fragments.
Let X=y
Pierre B is an Australian recording and visual artist working in electronic music, sculpture, video and graphic design. After 2 decades running a design agency he returned in 2017 to playing music again and now performs as Let X=y. He briefly studied at the Elder Conservatorium, Electronic Music Studio (Sth Aust) and was tutored by Tristram Cary OAM (founder of the BBC Radiophonic Workshop and co-designer of the VCS3 synth). He was a founding member of performance art band This Crepuscular Hour (TCH) that released two albums on the Dorobo/Iridium labels in the 90s with success in the EU and US. A TCH performance track from 1988 was recently re-discovered on Youtube by Bridget Small (PBS Radio) and included on the Left Ear Records compilation Antipodean Anomalies 2.
