Originally a term meaning “The Gilded One”, the name El Dorado eventually came to denote a (mythical?) city or region. El Dorado's original location was thought to be in what is now Columbia, South America, among an indigenous civilisation named Muisca. The audio for this video is of Muisca music, garnered from recent sources. It is our homage to the Muisca people, who are revitalising their enduring culture.
