Althoff's photographs are typographic extracts from an original fabric tram destination scroll. These scrolls were manually wound to alter destinations.
Campbell’s soundtrack is sourced primarily from ‘Destination City: a sound documentary of Melbourne trams’. Produced and recorded by Ormond Slater and Ewen Cameron (1969). Permission to use extracts from this vinyl LP is granted by Michael Slater, son of Ormond, and owner/operator of Micsound Studios, Port Melbourne.
