𝕯𝖎𝖘𝖈𝖔 𝕭𝖗𝖚𝖙 > Pterygium, Nat Grant, pathological function & Heather Vomiting God

Four live sonic performances by Naarm based artists challenging electroacoustics and hardcore experimentalism. Forecasting abrasive minimalism, emulated percussion, tainted hardware sourced breakcore and paranoiacore.

Featuring:

Pterygium

Nat Grant

Pathological Function

Heather Vomiting God

Pterygium is the Post-Industrial project of Henry Gillett, bringing high caliber, instrumental Post-Industrial density; brooding on elements of Noise, Power Electronics, Industrial and Dark Ambience. With an impressive discography aside, Pterygium’s live performances aim to push sound into evolving visceral narratives and confrontational territories.

Nat Grant is a drummer, percussionist, composer and sound artist creating electro-acoustic works for performance, installation, podcast and radio. Known for their long-form musical compositions, improvisation and using traditional and graphic notation, Nat brings a long threatened/awaited drum machine only set.

pathological function is the genre non-conforming project of November Jones, exploring intersections between analog and digital sound synthesis, noise and paranoia. November's realms include exploration of the surveillance industrial complex, advertising technology, and robotics construction.

Heather Vomiting God creates hardware-driven sonics incorporating breakcore, jungle, gabber and noise genres. Utilizing samples from Silent Hill and other sources for a weird and eerie complexity. Heather Vomiting God's sound reflects a partly failed resurrection ritual that twists and malforms rave and industrial music into a monstrous new level boss.
