Improvisational psych-guitar duo Wildebeest have released their
debut record titled "Blue//Black". The album is comprised of four
extended, (mostly) improvisational jams fusing minimalist structures
with exploratory soundscapes. The four tracks on "Blue//Black" challenge
the dichotomy of darker and lighter tones; resulting in an Eno-esque
approach to album structure. Influenced by krautrock, minimalism,
shoegaze, ambient, hip-hop, and drone, "Blue//Black" is a wild array of
paralytic noise and dreamy textural exploration.
