Performance Details:
Dark Night, Bright Light
Camilla Hannan: Sound
Martine Corompt, Van Sowerwine: Vision
Take a fast trip, where sound overtakes and images are glimpsed. Meanings are mixed and metaphors dominate. Cacophony, silence, disruption and crescendo. Camilla Hannan’s sound work sits upfront and centre, taking you to places simultaneously familiar and alien. In collaboration with visual artists and animators Martine Corompt and Van Sowerwine. Dark Night, Bright Light inhabits and transcends.
It’s Not You, It’s Us
Cassandra Tytler
Cassandra Tytler’s live visual art performance “It’s Not You, It’s Us”, seamlessly integrates live performance with projected video. With “It’s Not You, It’s Us”, Tytler, herself the performer, explores a world of love, violence and gender confusion. The character she plays attacks itself at every turn, yet tries to find an identity that is true to itself. Set against a backdrop of low-fi beauty, “It’s Not You, It’s Us” will add a dollop of apprehension the next time you look in the mirror.
