Noise flash returns for it’s third
installment, at a new outdoor location within 5km from the Melbourne CBD….
Noise Flash is a silent experimental audio
performance, whereby the audio is performed live and broadcast via short wave
FM radio transmitters. Up to sixty artists perform simultaneously using
acoustically silent devices that are battery powered. Audience members wishing
to hear the performance need to bring a FM radio and headphones, and tune into
the broadcast frequency. Within the performance location, nothing will be
acoustically audible.
