A Melbourne-centric exhibition of living Australian concrete poets, veteran and new practitioners, with traditional and contemporary approaches to concrete, sound and action poetry. Using various 2D art mediums, Concrete Poetry Now! curated by Ashley J Higgs with assistance from renowned soundpoet Peter Murphy and sound poetry producer Sjaak de Jong, will also incorporate sound poetry on opening night, transforming graphics and text from the page and realtime improv from sound-scores. Overseas contributions will also be displayed.
