Do you like analog sounds,
Krautrock rhythms, synthesisers, perhaps even a little ‘noise rock’ and most
importantly - indulging your IMAGINATION?! Well then, The Public Bar is hosting
a night that will feature 3 bands, all taking inspiration from these worlds,
happening on Saturday the 4th of May. Constant Light kick off proceedings
bringing their globe-trotting sound that takes in influences from Krautrock
(particularly the Neu! beat), Factory Records & OMD followed by Wunderlust,
the sonic experimentalists, cosmic jokers, wunderous plot smokers, who make
records to melt the wax in your dirty eardrums and headlining is Mat Watson
(Other Places), experimenting with legendary Aks synth, loop pedal and analogue
delay to create textural, danceable sonic landscapes… hmmm, I’ll drink to that!
