This month on Saturday 26th January at MUSIKUNST showcases 3 soloists on very personal musical journeys
VALLEYS
is the solo project of Ciaran Geoghegan. He uses walkman, guitar, contact mic and fx pedals to create loops, layers and drones ranging from soft ambience to noise.
THE TOYMOTOR LIGHTSHOW
Born from accident the Toymotor Lightshow is a one of a kind feedback generator that promises extreme and sometimes confusing atmospheres. Local experimental artist, David Incigneri will be guiding the device, making music from something that is not music.
M R S P K R
is Daniel Griffith, a Melbourne based sound artist focused mainly on the conjuring of abstract science fiction imagery through sonic landscapes. "Whale In A Box" is M R S P K R's improvised Liquid Architecture performance and involves the near destruction of vinyl on record player via tape delay, distortion, digital reverb and bit crushing.
As always, doors 4pm, sounds 4:30pm, $5/$10 entry

Seeking people who are interested in presenting a show of their own creation on the last Saturday of the month at MUSIKUNST in the basement of the Great Britain Hotel.
Applicants are free to create their own format and are encouraged to make full use of this unique space in whatever way would best enhance their performance.
