Tuesday April 3rd @ the Make It Up Club

This week marks the launch of our April residency featuring Judith Hamann and Carolyn Connors with a different percussionist over the next four Tuesdays. Hamann and Connors have forged a unique collaboration over the past year, fusing their individual virtuosity with extended cello and vocal techniques respectively. For this performance, they are joined by Joe Talia, undeniably Melbourne’s most accomplished and adventurous explorer of the electro-acoustic percussion tradition. Also, the unique vocal duo of Sophie Brous and Tarquin Manek, combining the rarefied and the absurd to create new expressions of voice improve. And, the transcendent delinquents of brutal improv, Disrupture return. Awesome!
