This week features two incredibly inventive duos, and a synth supergroup. Berlin-based improviser, Magda Mayas (one of Europe's most celebrated avant-pianists) and Tony Buck (the legendary Australian drummer from the likes of Peril and The Necks) make their MIUC debut in this configuration. Melbourne indie/punk/scumcore/drone luminaries McWaters/Brown/Watson/Brown premiere their new synth quartet. And Swedish-based improvisers, Casey and Johan Moir, present their duo of ultra abstracted, and rarefied breath, mediated by the trumpet and voice.
• Magda Mayas (Berlin) (clavinet) and Tony Buck (Berlin) (drumkit)
• Morgan McWaters, Miles Brown, Mat Watson and Matthew Brown (analogue synthesizers)
• Casey Moir (voice) and Johann Moir (trumpet)
