Three diverse and equally innovative collaborations this week. Stephen Richards (the genius behind the mixing desk at the MIUC every week) performs with his recently scratch-built modular, analogue synthesiser alongside the sublime extended cello practice of Golden Fur's Judy Hamann. US metal and hardcore guitar shredder, Theorn Campbell has convened a trio of abstracted and broken-beat digital grind improv for his debut performance. And, fresh from Berlin-via-the-Goldcoast, the incomparable master of avant-improv plunderphonics, Scott Sinclair, is joined by free-sax-noise firebrand, Lloyd Honeybrook.
- Stephen Richards (synth) and Judith Hamann (cello)
- Theorn Campbell (guitar with signal processor and halfstack, laptop and keyboard), Caitlin McKimm (v-drums) and Eliot McTavish (keyboard and drum machine)
- Lloyd Honeybrook (alto sax and good haircut) and Scott Sinclair (electronics and bad haircut)
