WHAT IS MUSIC presents... Circle JerkCircle Jerk will present handcrafted landscapes, algorithmic art, interactive instruments and visceral progressions. This kaleidoscope of noise will be sculpted behind the veil of 100 loud speakers.
A tangling of electronic music, music concrete, noise, ambience and industrial, on two custom built multi-speaker diffusion systems, will spread throughout the huge industrial arts complex of Revolt Melbourne. The diffusion systems will present listeners with the rare opportunity to experience a dynamic collection of unique, immersive environments, drawn from the minds of selected artists.
The spaces will intertwine with an array of video and performance installations and improvisations, from a motley troupe of Melbourne’s finest contemporary artists.
