Three very different acts this week at MIUC, all of whom are immersed in the outer regions of their respective sonic traditions. Instrument builder extraordinaire, Rod Cooper returns after an intensive tour of the USA with a performance of high-tensile springage and honest electronic mediation. Sydney composer and electronics improviser, Marcus Whale (Scissor Lock, Collarbones, etc) makes a welcome appearance in solo guise after a sublimely raucous collaboration with Cleptocleptics at Sydney's High Reflections series.
