After over a month of high densities, intense volumes and maximalism in it's extremes, this week MIUC is focusing on the rarefied and refined. Featuring four musicians renowned for their their explorations of the extended possibilities inherent in their respective instruments, and for their attention to microscopic sonic details and engagements with silence, two duets will frame short solos by each, in a concert of focused listening. • Dale Gorfinkel (percussion, wind and objects) and Lochie Bradfield (bass)
