DIGITAL JAM - Buttress O'Kneel live in Canberra, November 2010

As this is a Melbourne blog, it's unlikely that any of you saw Buttress O'Kneel headlining the Digital Jam event in the carpark of our country's delightful capital city's National Gallery late last year. Luckily, she recorded it all, and has finally gotten around to giving it to us for a wider distribution.

Although her bastard-pop albums and audio-documentaries are generally intricately programmed (and therefore, to some, not at all 'experimental'), her live shows are nearly entirely improvised, with her own works (or simply other peoples' CDs) used as source material for her array of distortion, delay, hold, loop, and destruction pedals.
