This Wednesday the 8th of April @ Stutter...

  • PHILIP BROPHY is an Australian musician, composer, sound designer, filmmaker, writer, graphic designer, educator and academic. His work constitutes reworking pre-existing media, composing film, music and soundscapes, mixing, mastering, installing and presenting audiovisual work in surround sound environments. On this occasion Philip will be presenting ''I Am Piano'' - a live music performance centred around performed reconstructions of piano samples taken from classic modern jazz recordings.

  • CEDRIC ANGLARET (FR) is a Paris-based performance and sound artist with a focus on public space actions (or non-actions). In Cédric’s own words: “My stance as an artist is my stance as a human. I am not different from the others. My work is composed of a variety of propositions and invitations to actions, experiments or microevents. Some are collective many are individuals. A thirty minutes blindfolded walk, a walk of which every parameter is defined randomly, forty minutes of immobility in a waiting room, invitations to share a smile, extremely slow walk on a daily journey... Once the invitation is sent via flyers, classifieds advertisements, radio or word of mouth anyone interested can contact me. They are the public.”

  • HEART FLEW / CAUGHT SHIP (Bris/Melb) - This performance will reflect both bands (Heart Flew Like An Arrow and Caught Ship) resulting in both experimental and ambient traits of Heart Flew as well as a pop feeling, with the addition of sequential drums and vocals. Members for the night are Adam (guitar/keyboards), Ben (guitar/vocals), Pat (drums) and Hanna (vocals).

  • THEMBI SODDELL will be playing records between the acts!
