This Wednesday the 29th of April @ Stutter...

  • TRIAD - ''Improvisational, experimental, electro-acoustic group Triad are undertaking their first full length Australian tour. Beginning from an impromptu performance in Hobart during June 2006, the trio of Scot Cotterell (Hobart), Tom Hall (Brisbane) and Matt Warren (Hobart) bring together a wide variety of sound and time-based practices with considerable experience in recording, live performance and installation. The combination of varied instrumentation, software, analogue synths, voice and percussion create an open framework that allows a responsive and unique experience for each live performance.''

  • IMPULSE/CONTROL - (Edryan Hakim) several shades of grey and brown, sparse cowboy jangles lightly faded black metal blues with more interest in shoegazing than burning churches. songs & sounds inspired by medical difficulties, shitty jobs and hopeful hopelessness, running on ''artistic '' diffculties and a lack of control in certain impulses.

  • BARNABY OLIVER/PAUL RODGERS - Barnaby Oliver: revox, mics, synth, echoes, distortions. Paul Rodgers: 16mm projections, loops, prisms, feedback. The duo will present avant-projection, meta-dub, obsolete technologies, mutual misunderstandings, interference, obfuscation, dirty heads, smudged lenses, degradation, dismemberment and re-memberment, both intentional and unintentional.

  • dj sets by BUM CREEK between the acts!
