Undue Noise at Castlemaine State Festival

Undue Noise Inc is a nonprofit collective of Central Victorian sound and video artists. We've managed to get a gig into the Castlemaine State Festival next week, featuring Rod Cooper and Ross Bencina, as well as a couple of local artists. For those in Melbourne, maybe you'd like a nice drive or train trip for this afternoon gig. The flyer says

Looking for elusive new sounds or ways of playing? Then create your own musical instrument - these artists have.

Rod Cooper
Sculptor & sound artist Rod Cooper, who produces metal and wood sculptures that can be bowed,
scraped, plucked and struck, has peformed at many festivals, and will perform here on his new instrument,

electroacoustic music led him to develop the widely used software program Audiomulch.
