Experimental guitarists Scissor Lock(Marcus Whale) and mousetrapreplica(Ryan McRobb) are releasing a recording of their incredible improvised duet, performed at the now defunct AfterDark bar in late 2007.Entitled 'A Tin TearDrop,' it features the artwork of mousetrapreplica painter Alice Palermo. It is being released on Sydney label Monstera Deliciosa.
mousetrapreplica will also be performing a separate set on the night, which will be the first time they will perform as a full quartet. The band features:

Murray Pigdon - Bass, Chimes
Nella Combe - Live Painting
Opening the night will be the beautiful live electronics of ii, a Melbourne duo consisting of Jon Tjhia and Alex Nosek. Make sure you pick up their 'Landlakes' album, it is simply stunning.
The night will run as follows:

9pm - mousetrapreplica
10pm - Scissor Lock / mousetrapreplica duo
