The Donkey's Tail is an experimental, abstract, free noise, improv, garage ensemble using electric guitars, brass, drums, percussion teamed with various home made instruments and noise making objects.
The group for the Horse Bazaar performance will include John Nixon, Sean Bailey and Simon Stephenson, with a guitar and percussion-oriented set.
Absoluten Calfeutrail is the solo noise/power electronics unit of Mark Groves (True Radical Miracle, Whitehorse, Collapsed Toilet Vietnam). Simple compositions utilising readily available elements: voice, synth, contact microphones, distortion, delay, stress and anxiety.
Poletopra is a new duo featuring renowned experimental musician, Anthony Pateras, and renowned sound/visual artist, Marco Fusinato. Combining a pummeling aesthetic with lightning response, Poletopra is brutal free improv for the 21st century.Poletopra on Pateras MySpazz
Juarez is the solo project of Jessica Pinney (one half of Johnny Saw Horses). Using analogue synths and various vocal techniques Juarez works with the sounds of the body and environmental extremes such as tidal flooding and the desert.
This will be one of the last performances from Jess for a while as she is heading off to the UK. We will be concocting a special Juarez drink on the evening in her honour, most likely with tequila! so please come down and raise a farewell glass!
