+ LARS GRAUGAARD (DK)
+ MAKERS OF THE DEAD TRAVEL FAST (SYD)
+ SCATTERED ORDER MK1 (SYD)
+ DJ ROB MAYSON
+ LARS GRAUGAARD - ''Lars Graugaard is a composer, flautist, and lecturer with a PhD in the artistic and technological challenges of interactive music and multimedia. He has more than 160 compositions in all genres to his credit, regularly performed in Europe, Asia, Australia and the Americas. He has composed works for stage and cinema, and participates as composer and/or flautist on over 40 CDs for dacapo/Marco Polo, Classico, Centaur, EMI, SONY Classical, CBS, and others. Lars regularly publishes peer-reviewed papers. Consequently, his artistic vision and musical understanding lets him move freely between sophisticated surroundings and popular culture, and his production therefore comprises digital experiments into the latest trends of interactive music, installations and cross-modal forms, as well as popular projects and compositions in the modernistic European tradition from large-scale orchestral pieces to chamber music. Recent endeavours have brought him the vicinity of experimental real-time electronica, with a variety of international projects.''
+ SCATTERED ORDER - ''From the dusty vaults of the legendary M Squared record label lurches that perennial genre busting favourite Scattered Order. This Mark 1 version of the band finds original members and label chief honchos Mick Jones and Michael Tee combining for a sonic assault of samples, noise and guitars in this rare live performance. Witness a brave attempt at DIY reverse engineering as Minidiscs, cassettes and other deleted technology are used to demolish a bunch of new tunes plus old faves like ''Heat'', ''Koo Koo Kamus'' and ''Mass Murder''.''
+ MAKERS OF THE DEAD TRAVEL FAST - ''This quirky late 70's Sydney electronica band has reanimated their deft mixture of the pseudo classical with elements of exotica & gothic pop. Best known for the 1980 underground sensation ''Tael of Seaghors''. Floating watery sounds made by synths and bubblemakers lead into a lilting, gorgeous two-chord progression in 3/4 time and ersazt pirate verse. See original members (Shane Fahey, Peter Richardson and Steve Couri) joined by Cat Colman construct their art-noir keyboard tunes with guitar clouds and microbe electronics in their first Melbourne performances in many years.''
+ DJ ROB MAYSON between the acts!

Undue Noise - sound and video art from Bendigo and Castlemaine
Undue Noise, founded in 2002, is a collective of a Central Victorian sound and video artists who organise regular experimental gigs in Bendigo and Castlemaine. Tonight's 4 acts feature some of its most active members.
DOUBLEOTHER - Doubleother are Justin Bull (guitar) and Simon Howard (computer sounds and video). Half of improv group Planetcaravan = the whole of Doubleother. Overdue regulars in Bendigo's undue noise. Languishing somewhere between the pub and some gallery.
PAUL FLETCHER - A video/animation & sound artist, interested in experimental relationships between narrative, sound and animated motion, Paul works collaboratively with multi-discipline Central Victorian live art collective Punctum, and Undue Noise as well as individual film and live performance projects, including the invention of custom built audiovisual instruments. A former member of Essendon Airport and Tsk, Tsk, Tsk. Paul will present a live video and sound improvisatory film, ''Sonic Island'' - an island made of sound. An island as a metaphor for a state of isolation. An isolated state buffeted and caressed by gentle waves.
FORCE FED SMILE - Treated loops that try to become song's yet fail in the attempt and become a psychedelic dreamscape. Sounds by Tim Townsend.
JACQUES SODDELL - Bendigo-based electroacoustic composer working with treated field recordings, and sometimes video. He founded Undue Noise in 2002, runs experimental label Cajid Media, is actively involved in live arts group Punctum, and since 1983 has presented an experimental music program, Possible Musics, on Bendigo community radio.

GOLDEN FUR - ''Golden Fur is a trio comprising Samuel Dunscombe (clarinet/laptop) Judith Hamann (violoncello) and James Rushford (keyboard/viola), with an ongoing and dedicated interest in classical, experimental and improvised music. Focusing on more obscure contemporary and 20th century music, Golden Fur's quest is to bring a refreshing sonic palette to chamber music, adding volume and volatility by means of amplification, built instruments, electronics, film and dramaturgy...''
THE SCRAPES (Bris) - ''The Scrapes, formed in Brisbane late in the summer of 2008, are an unusual duo of feedback drenched guitar and scraping, epic violin. Their music is rooted firmly in the traditions of western classical music while representing an attempt to transgress them. It is music that evokes landscapes and acts of nature as well as cerebral landscapes. Inspired equally by composers such as Arvo Pärt, Philip Glass and La Monte Young, sound artists and pioneers of the drone such as Tony Conrad and Spacemen 3, and the dark, demented sounds of the underground of rock music, The Scrapes can be at once immersive and chaotic in a live setting where wild improvisation and high volume come into the fold.''
JAMES RUSHFORD / JOE TALIA / MARCO FUSINATO - James Rushford and Joe Talia are a Melbourne-based duo. Part instrumental concréte, part ambient drone, the duo uses prepared viola and tabletop percussion to create sounds more akin to a modular synthesiser than acoustic instruments. Influenced by composers such as Iancu Dumitrescu and Eliane Radigue, the duo’s static, slowly unfolding textures become dappled and immersive environments that are both ecstatic and terrifying. They will be performing with a master of ecstatic free noise, Marco Fusinato on guitar and electronics.
